Disney have just given us a second glimpse at the highly anticipated sequel to Frozen and after watching it we seriously don’t know how to feel.

While the first Frozen film dealt with some challengers, it was mostly a light-hearted kids film about wanting to build a snowman.

But the sequel? Well from the vibe Disney is giving off in their teaser, we’re feeling like this instalment is very, very dark…

In fact, if you didn’t know what you were watching, you might just think that this trailer was for some scary drama – not a kid’s film!

Similar to the first trailer that we saw for Frozen 2, we can see that something just ain’t right in Arendelle at the moment and it looks like it’s up to Ice Queen Elsa to fix it.

In the first scene we see Elsa running over water during a big storm, using her magical powers to freeze a path for herself, before she falls beneath the waves.

Down in the water she comes face to face with some sort of mystical, swimming horse type creature that somehow doesn’t look as friendly as Olaf the snowman.

While all this is happening, some seriously INTENSE music plays in the background. But speaking of music, not a single musical number is performed in the trailer. And yeah, we don’t think we’ll be able to let that go anytime soon.

As the suspenseful background music continues, we move to a different scene with Elsa, Anna,  Kristoff and the trolls.

“We have always feared that Elsa’s powers were too much for this world,” says the troll Grand Pabbie. “Now, we must hope they are enough.”

Grand Pabbie then sends the team on a quest up north, across the enchanted lands, in order to save Arendelle – although we’re not too sure what from.

All in all, we’re not really sure what the heck is happening in the trailer, let alone what is going to happen in the actual movie. Although we hope it’s going to get a tad more light-hearted and include a couple of good songs for us to get stuck in our heads.

Disney isn’t giving away much in the description of the film either saying, “Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom.”

Frozen 2 will be in cinemas on November 22. Check out the trailer for yourself above!
