If you, like the majority of the world, have fallen in love with Netflix’s Bridgerton, then we have some good news for you.

Netflix has officially announced that the show is getting a second season.

While the first season – based on Julia Quinn’s novel, ‘The Duke and I’ – focused on Daphne Bridgerton and Simon Basset, it is understood that the next season will revolve around Daphne’s older brother, Anthony Bridgerton (‘The Viscount Who Loved Me’).

Each of Quinn’s novels focus on a different character.

“I feel like the first season was primarily about Daphne and her love story with Simon. But, this being a family of eight children and there being eight books, I would love to be able to focus and really tell stories and love stories for all the Bridgerton siblings,” Chris Van Dusen, the show’s creator told Collider.
