We knew that the adult world had started taking The Wiggles‘ music very seriously when they beat out the likes of The Kid Laroi, Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eillish to top Triple J‘s annual Hottest 100.
And why not? Their cover of Tame Impala‘s ‘Elephant’ has been in our heads ever since we first heard it.
But this idea is on a whole different level of crazy…and of course it’s Lil Nas X who’s behind it.
The Montero singer took to his Twitter to tease that Australia’s favourite band (or at least our favourite band featuring a pirate, an octopus and a narcoleptic bloke) could be co-headlining an upcoming tour.
Frankly, we’re here for it and so are The Wiggles, it seems:

Look, there’s probably very little chance of this actually happening. Lil Nas X has been around the internet for long enough now to know how to troll entire nations of millennials.
But we’re willing to believe that we might yet hear the song ‘Come On Down To Wiggly Old Town Road’ someday soon…we can dream.
