Mick Fleetwood has paid full homage to the chilliest, joy-filled most pure TikTok vid of the moment.
Nathan Apodaca, user @420doggface208, last week became a sensation after posting a TikTok of himself skateboarding and drinking Cran-Raspberry juice while singing along to Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Dreams’.
Now it seems that the band’s own Mick Fleetwood has kicked off his own TikTok account just to pay tribute to Apodaca.
OK, so we don’t for one minute buy that Mick’s skateboarding (we understand the 73-year-old is being pulled along or something) but hey, like Apodaca, he sips from his own bottle of Cran-Raspberry juice and lip-synchs to bandmate’s Stevie Nicks’ lyrics.
“@420doggface208 had it right. Dreams and Cranberry just hits different,” the clip was captioned.
Apodaca told TMZ that he made the vid after his car broke down and consequently had to skate to work.
“My car, it just shuts off sometimes,” he said. “The battery ― I don’t know what it is ― just shuts off. I always have my long board in there, in case I run out of gas or something.”
“So I just jumped on my long board [and] I decided this would be perfect for a video. I had my cranberry juice with me, because that’s my drink.”
The original clip has been viewed about 21 million times.
