Their gorgeous bub Axel is only seven-months-old, but already the rumours are starting to circle around the relationship between Michelle Bridges and Steve ‘Commando’ Willis.
However, when asked about the headline yesterday, Bridges responded in the best way she knew how, according to the Daily Mail.
She posted a sweet photo of the family on her Instagram account, with Commando pulling a strange face as he posed with his partner and their bub.
‘Ummmm….. whatever….,’ the 45-year-old wrote alongside the family photo, followed by an eggplant emoji, which is often used to represent male appendages.
A side note read: ‘Best emoji to describe my thoughts’. The caption was followed with the cheeky monkey emoji.
The reports, printed in Monday’s edition of Woman’s Day, suggested both Michelle and her partner’s run with the hit reality program may be coming to an end.
Just as the news hit, Commando happened to appear on the Today Show but appeared to dodge the question when prompted by host Lisa Wilkinson.
‘I’m not sure what’s going on with all of that,’ the 40-year-old said as he seemed slightly thrown by the topic.
He added: ‘That comes down to a year-by-year thing and if there’s a phone call to do it, we’ll do it.’
Steve and Michelle are reportedly being replaced by producers who are on the hunt for new talent.
It is believed fellow trainers Tiffiny Hall and Shannan Ponton are also set to be ditched by Channel Ten.
Michelle and Steve’s romance began when they met on the show, with both of the trainers leaving their respective partners to pursue a relationship together.
Steve has three other children from previous relationships, Brianna, 17, Ella, six, and son Jack, four.
