Masterchef Australia is getting ready to premiere their first season without the original judges, but that doesn’t mean that we won’t be seeing some familiar faces.
The popular cooking show is about to return for it’s 12th season and they’ve just announced that their cast will serve up a whole bunch of favourites.
Taking on a new format, season 12 will see past contestants return to the competition for a second chance at winning the title of Masterchef Australia.
It’s called Masterchef Australia Back To Win and with all 24 aspiring chefs being experienced with the show before it’s likely to make the competition even spicier!
One face that you’ll definitely remember is Season One runner up Poh Ling Yeow, who says she’s “been waiting for this moment for 10 years” and that she’s got “a little bit of unfinished business”.
You’ll likely also remember season favourite Khanh Ong from Season 10 who’s returned to the kitchen after placing 3rd last time around.

This comes as Masterchef is due to premiere three new judges this season after letting former judges Gary Mehigan, Matt Preston and George Calombaris go.
The new judges include Jock Zonfrillo, Melissa Leong and Andy Allen.
No word yet on when exactly the new season will start but we’re sure it’ll be hitting Channel 10 very soon!
