People may have doubted the seriousness of their relationship, but now Married At First Sight’s Cyrell Paule and Love Island’s Eden Dally have proven just how serious they are with an announcement about starting a family.

New Idea has announced that the reality TV couple are expecting a baby together, and have posted a photo of the pair cradling Cyrell’s baby bump and showing off an ultrasound scan.

30-year-old Cyrell is reportedly 12 weeks along and the pair have spoken with New Idea about how they found out that they were expecting.

Cyrell admitted to the publication that the pregnancy was not planned and they were quite shocked by the news.

“I’ll be honest, it was not planned. I was freaked out thinking about Eden’s reaction,” Cyrell said.

“Then my friend settled me down and I thought, “What did I want?” We went to the shops and I bought three pregnancy tests. I screamed and cried! Then I went and bought a fourth one. It sunk in eventually. I’ve got nothing against it, but for me I don’t have the strength to have an abortion. So I knew, then, I’m having a baby!”

It wasn’t expected. But it’s happening, I’m excited and I can’t wait to have this little baby,” Eden added.

After their initial relationship was branded a “publicity stunt” by some people in the media, Cyrell and Eden expressed that they were concerned that their baby would get the same reputation.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if my child is going to get called a publicity stunt,” Cyrell told New Idea. “That’s sad, because the baby has nothing to do with it. It gets exhausting trying to defend it.”

“I guarantee people will say the baby is a publicity stunt,” Eden added. “They’ll say we got pregnant to stay relevant or to extend our 15 minutes of fame. It’s very stressful and stress can cause bad things to happen.”

The pair appeared on different reality TV shows but announced that they had started dating earlier this year after Cyrell’s season of MAFS finished airing.

They have remained quite controversial in the media and have made headlines on numerous occasions ever since making things official.

But now it seems that they’re going to settle down with a family of their own. While New Idea has posted about the news, neither Cyrell or Eden have posted on their personal social accounts about the news yet.

Congratulations to the couple!
