A representative for Liam Neeson insists the Irish actor is in good health despite photos showing him looking frail and gaunt.
Neeson, 63, sparked fears for his health after he was photographed looking noticeably thinner while out and about in New York City over the weekend.
However, a representative for the Taken star is fit and well and keeping busy with work.
“He’s never been healthier … He has just completed one film and starts another in September,” the rep has told the Daily Mail.
The film Neeson has just finished shooting is a Martin Scorsese movie called Silence in which he plays a 16th-century Jesuit priest who faced torture while on a missionary trip in Japan.
Silence co-stars Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver and is scheduled for release in 2016.
Neeson’s popularity has increased greatly since his roles in the Taken movies, in which he plays former government operative Bryan Mills.
