A few days ago, Canterbury CEO Andrew Hill has confirmed that NRL players Corey Harawira-Naera and Hayden Okunbor were stood down for bringing teenage girls back to their hotel after a school visit during a recent visit to Port Macquarie.

The alleged incident occurred on a pre-season trip to Port Macquarie last month for a trial match and was brought to the club’s attention last Friday.

This morning, WSFM’s NRL commentator Erin Molan joined Jonesy & Amanda to chat about the scandal, and what we can expect from the Bulldogs this year.

“I just don’t get it, even if you’re not that bright… even if you don’t have the moral compass to think it’s actually not right to go into a school and do a visit as someone in a position of power and influence,” she explained.

“It’s just grubby, it’s embarrassing, and if I was a parent of those students I would be absolutely appalled and really pissed off [at the players]… it’s disgusting!”
