Rolling Stone Magazine named “My Generation” the 11th greatest rock song of all time, and even declared the song a ‘pivotal musical moment’ in the rock and roll movement. But, there remains many misconceptions around the true meaning of the song.

The Who’s Pete Townshend, who wrote the iconic hit, sat down with Jonesy & Amanda to discuss the song, as well as his inspirations as a writer, and whether he would ever follow in drummer Keith Moon’s footsteps and throw a television out a window!
