Chicken provider Ingham’s has been forced to recall a line of products over fears they may be contaminated with blue rubber.

NSW Food Authority has issued the urgent message on Ingham’s Sweet Chilli Chicken Kiev from Woolworths.

“The recall only applies to product purchased from the deli counter in Woolworths stores in NSW, QLD, VIC, WA and Metro stores in VIC only on 19, 20 and 21 May 2019,” the message from NSW Food Authority reads.

“The product has been recalled because some have been found to contain pieces of hard plastic and are not suitable for consumption,” Ingham’s said in a statement.

“If you have purchased the product, please do not consume the product but return it to your place of purchase for a full refund.”
