A little one’s first words are a memorable moment for every mother and father – especially when it appears that the baby is saying ‘I love you’.
Ted Moskalenko, from Cherry Hill, New Jersey, filmed his three-month-old son Ben saying exactly that – and posted the video onto his YouTube channel, where it’s had nearly 200,000 views.
In the clip, Ted makes baby sounds to Ben, who he is holding on his lap, in the hope of getting a vocal response.
Initially, the youngster replies by making screeching noises.
Ted then tells his young son that he loves him and Ben goes momentarily silent, while moving his hands around in front of him.
The toddler then utters his reply and seemingly says to his father: ‘I love you.’
Ted, who appears to be completely stunned by his son’s unexpected articulation, looks up at his wife who is filming and smiles.
Catching his dad’s expression, Ben then begins smiling himself as the clip concludes.
Posting alongside the video, Ted wrote: ‘My baby boy Ben said “I love you” for the first time. Good thing my wife had the camera rolling. Enjoy!
‘Our lovely boy is growing faster than we can keep up!’
