After taking out the title of Sole Survivor in 2018, Shane Gould has now become the first ‘All Star’ player to get eliminated by the newly formed Vakama tribe.

In an interview with Jonesy & Amanda after her ill-fated Tribal Council, Shane opens up on why she should still be on the show, chimpanzee culture and who she thinks will take home the Champion title.

“It’s a real dilemma so your big game players and dramatists make it really interesting, but it’s the nice people or clever ones who have negotiated the relationships and strategies,” she explained.

“This competition is about coming together to help people improve and get the best out of yourself.

“I read up on chimpanzee politics… and the idea of primates in similar situations in tribal life, and I saw that the way chimps work together… it’s not about tearing each other apart, it’s about coming together.”

So, who does Shane think will win?

“I think Harry’s smart and he’s got patience whereas someone who’s a drama queen like David… he’s fascinating to watch but not as patient as Harry.”

Australian Survivor continues tonight on Network 10 at 7:30pm.
