Grab your love ferns people! The hilarious rom com that brought us a crazy Kate Hudson and introduced us to Matthew McConaughey’s “Princess Sophia” (if you know, you know…) is getting a rerun!

But no, they’re not recreating the 2003 classic ‘How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days’ into another movie. Apparently the hilarious story line is being turned into a series!

According to E! News, the series is in development at Quibi, which is a new mobile-focused streaming platform that is set to bring us some of the best entertainment on the go. The name is meant be short for ‘Quick Bites’.

The series has been written by Guy Branum, the guy who wrote ‘The Mindy Project’, and is set to follow a very similar story line to the original film but will be a modern take on the plot.

“[It] follows a glib young online columnist and an oversexed advertising executive who both need to prove, once and for all, they’re capable of being monogamous,” the show’s synopsis reads.

“They soon discover, however, keeping a relationship is harder than Andie Anderson made it look!

Andie Anderson was the main character played by Kate Hudson in the film who wrote an article about what not to do in a relationship and so the synopsis makes it seem like it will follow on from the original plot with new characters.

We can’t wait for this!
