Harry Potter is celebrating Christmas early!
Universal Studios Hollywood has transformed for the festive season with The Wizarding World of Harry Potter precinct, including a towering Hogwarts Castle, the centrepiece of the celebration.
The theme park, popular with Australian tourists visiting Los Angeles, has introduced nightly snowfalls in Hogsmeade village, a high-tech light projection and fireworks show on Hogwarts Castle, holiday-themed butter beer and Christmas carol singing by Hogwarts students and frogs.
The Harry Potter-themed area is based on the world created by British author JK Rowling in her highly-popular Harry Potter novels and movies and the prequel films Fantastic Beasts.
Universal’s “Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” began on November 17 and goes until January 6, 2019.
The Grinch has also taken over other parts of the park for a Grinchmas experience, including an 18-metre tall whimsical Grinchmas tree and performances by Martha Who-vier, the Who Dolls and the Who-liday Singers boy band.
#Grinchmas returns to #UniversalStudiosHollywood on December 1 with of course #Max and #Grinch. Get your tickets and join in the fun.https://t.co/opIWvW8TPY @youtube @UniStudios #youtube #losangeles #themepark #holidays
