It was the television event of 2018, so it’s only natural that ‘The All New Monty’ would return in 2019.

While our very own Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones won’t be making a second appearance, Shane Jacobson and Todd McKenny are back with a new batch of blokes.

Bachelor Matty J, NRL star George Burgess, former Wiggle Sam Moran, footy legend Lote Tuqiri, acting great John Wood, AFL legend Robert DiPierdomenico and Brendan Fevola will join forces to strip off to raise awareness for prostate cancer.

Todd McKenney sat down with Jonesy & Amanda to expose the secrets behind the popular program, and what we can expect from the strippin’ stars themselves.

Compared to last year’s strippers, the new batch is much more open to the idea of waltzing around naked.

“It’s much more laddish,” McKenney said of this year’s participants.

“My kind of struggle with this group was getting them to keep their clothes on. They wanted to keep getting their kits off in rehearsals, lunch. It’s a completely different feel.”

He added, “In one of the rehearsals, George Burgess literally dropped his daks and I had to walk over and kind of pull them back up!”

Suffice to say, he took his time pulling them up!

So, will we see McKenney getting his gear off?

“Well, not necessarily.”
