Disappointing news for fans of The Handmaid’s Tale.
Airing of the fourth season has been delayed, with the show expected to return mid-2021.
Production had just commenced on the show when they were forced to shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, Hulu has shifted its release to next year.
The show – which stars Elisabeth Moss, Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski and Alexis Bledel – has also been impacted by border closures, with the program filmed primarily in Canada.
Australians can expect the show to return next year on SBS.
