Former Home and Away star, Tessa James, has revealed the moment it all became too much while undergoing chemotherapy for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

In an interview with Sunday Night, the 24-year-old, told how she hit rock bottom.

“I had a panic attack and I remember calling my dad and just saying ‘I want to die, I don’t want to do this, I can’t do it’,” she said.

James’ father, Stephen, had also been fighting his own battle after being diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2012.

Best known for her role as Nicole Franklin on the Aussie soap, James blamed the reaction on the numerous drugs she was forced to take.

“I was a clean eating, healthy person, I’d never experienced that amount of drugs in my body,” she said.

“The drugs were making me depressed and anxious.”
