After taking some time to take it all in, it seems that Peter Stefanovic is ready to find work again.

Peter Stefanovic was axed from the Today show in December 2018 in what’s been called a staffing ‘bloodbath’ at Channel Nine.

Working at Nine for 15 years, the 37 year-old had an advert posted in the popular online newsletter for the media industry, Social Diary.

The message states Peter is “now available for any upcoming relevant opportunities.”

While at Nine, Peter was the host of Weekend Today, and reported for shows such as 60 Minutes.

When it was announced that he would not be returning to work at Channel Nine in 2019, a statement from the company read: “Peter has decided to explore new opportunities and is looking forward to spending weekends with his wife.”

“He has been a respected member of the Nine News team and Weekend Today, and we wish him all the best for the future.”

Peter’s brother Karl Stefanovic, and wife Sylvia Jeffreys both also lost their roles from the Today show, but Sylvia remains contracted to Nine.
