The Rolling Stones Zip Code Tour of the U.S. stopped at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, where the band was joined by special guest Ed Sheeran for “Beast of Burden.”

Ed not only opened for the show but returned to play with the legends on stage. “Ed Sheeran! That was great! I loved that one,” Mick Jagger said at the end of the song. “Ed wanted to do Trap Queen but we didn’t rehearse it”.

The Stones then played ‘Kansas City’ the Little Willie Littlefield cover from 1952, a song that they hadn’t played live since 1963,. “This next song used to be the opening number of all our blues sets back in 1963, I mean that for real. We haven’t played it in a long time,” Jagger said diving into the blues classic.

The video (below) shows both backstage and onstage footage of Ed Sheeran with the Rolling Stones as posted by thte band on YouTube.
