Just days after it was announced that Grant Denyer would be returning as host of Family Feud, fans of Celebrity Name Game were optimistic that the program would also be returning.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the case, with a Channel Ten insider revealing to TVTonight that the network has no plans to bring the game show back.
Celebrity Name Game, based on the U.S. version of the same name, sees teams of two attempt to answer questions with the help of a celebrity guest.
While the program was dumped from Channel 10 in December 2019, it moved to multichannel 10 Bold, and continued to air up until May 8. It has since been replaced by reruns of Star Trek: Voyager.
The disappointing news comes after Denyer announced a very special edition of Family Feud, dedicated to frontline workers who have served our country during the bushfire season and coronavirus pandemic.
