Country singer Carrie Underwood has announced that she has given birth to a beautiful baby boy with husband Mike Fisher.
The announcement was made in the form of a series of adorable photos on the singer’s Instagram account.
“Jacob Bryan Fisher entered the world in the wee hours of the morning on Monday…his mom, dad and big brother couldn’t be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle,” Carrie wrote.
“Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changes. Life is good,” she added.
Little Jacob is Carrie and Mike’s second child, joining older brother Isaiah.
Underwood told her fans that she was pregnant back in August during the announcement for her Cry Pretty 360 Tour, which will take place in May 2019.
“You might be wondering or asking, ‘Carrie, why is your tour starting in May?’Well…yay! Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding a little fish to our pond,” she said in a video at the time.
“This has been a dream come true with the album and baby news and all that stuff,” she continued. “We are just so excited and just so glad that you guys can share in this with us and be a part of this with us. I love you guys. We’ll see you on the road in 2019.”
At the time, fans assumed that Carrie was having a baby girl as both the balloons and her clothing used in the video were baby pink in colour.
But looks like she might have just been trying to keep us off the real scent! Congratulations to Carrie and Mike on their newly grown family!
