Brynne Edelsten has quit SAS Australia after lasting just six hours.

The 38-year-old pulled the pin after she was forced to do push-ups while carrying a heavy backpack- oh sorry, we mean a bergen.

“I can’t do it,” she announced, buckling to her knees.

“If you can’t do it, get up and give me your arm band!” barked chief instructor Ant Middleton, which Brynne ended up doing.

“I’ve lived a very high life, but there are also times I have struggled. I am mentally strong but I don’t have physical strength,” Brynne said after walking from the course.

“Even though I am disappointed at leaving, I know I need to, because my body is not strong enough to keep doing these things.”

Despite her disappointment, the socialite had no regrets about partaking in the show, saying: “I have no regrets about this, if anything, it encourages me to try and work to see what I can do in the future.”

Brynne isn’t the only SAS participant to have lasted only six hours, with PR maven Roxy Jacenko also only lasting half a day during last year’s season.
