British rocker Brian May has officially launched his political campaign group by unveiling a large billboard in London.
The Queen guitarist decided against running as an independent candidate in the UK general election in May this year and instead set up activist organisation Common Decency to call for a reform to the British political system.
The huge poster unveiled by May in Vauxhall, south London, reads, “Sick of the lies? You have one voice – one vote – use it!!!… #CommonDecency… Join our campaign – we can reclaim our democracy.”
In a video posted on YouTube.com, May encourages Brits to vote on 7 May and adds: “We can turn Britain upside down and we can get a decent Parliament. We can bring back democracy. We can reclaim our right to have a voice in this country.”
