Eighties pop icons Bananarama are returning to Australia 30 years after they rose to prominence as the originators of girl power with hits such as Cruel Summer and I Want You Back.
The British group took the world by storm and still hold the record for the world’s most successful girl band with more than 30 UK Top 40 hots and 40 million record sales.
The band will arrive Down Under in February for a national concert tour, supported by another big ’80s pop act, Wang Chung, and Australia’s own ’80s/’90s girl group The Chantoozies on some dates.
