With the huge news today that Australia’s Wonderland may FINALLY be revived after closing in 2004 come these pictures that show the spooky graveyard that reveals what became of the theme parks rides and attractions after it closed down.
Dave Naylor has tracked down the remains of the once popular rides that were part of the park in scrub land at Eastern Creek.
Speaking to ninemsn Mr Naylor said: “We weren’t even sure we would find anything”
‘Too Much Fun’ Remember singing the very catchy Wonderland jingle???
“It took us a little while but I eventually spotted a flat piece of the old Snowy River Rampage.”
“The most depressing thing was realising we were standing on the exact same spot where the actual Beastie used to be,” he said, referring to one of the park’s original roller coasters.

In exciting news for those who remember the park in it’s glory day the resurrection of Wonderland Sydney is set to get the ‘Walt Disney treatment’ thanks to the appointment of David Bakas, who was the Operations Manager at Walt Disney World in Orlando, to General Manager of Western Sydney Theme Park Pty Ltd.
