Since releasing her hit breakup anthem ‘Thank U, Next’ no one’s really been able to stop talking about it, with the song itself and the iconic music video being labelled the pop culture moment of 2018.

But it seems Ariana Grande is already moving on from the track, or saying Thank U, Next to it, as our girl is already dropping another tune. And we don’t have to wait too long at all with it set to hit later today.

after teasing the new song titled ‘Imagine’ all week, the ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ singer has just released a snippet of the tune to get us all pumped for the full release and so we no longer have to wonder what it will sound like.

Uploading a short clip to her Instagram story, Ari gave us a glimpse at the tune that is said to be everything that ‘Thank U, Next’ wasn’t.

No, ‘Imagine’ sounds like it’s going to be more of a breakup ballad rather than an anthem about being grateful for her exes.

In fact, Grande said so herself in a tweet that this tune will be more about “denial” and mourning her failed relationships.

“Kind of like…pretending it never ended. denial (sic),” she wrote. “but I look forward to you hearing it and having your own experience with it. You may take away something totally different and specific to your life love u.” (sic)

So the only question left is, which relationship is Ari singing about being in denial? Pete Davidson? Ricky Alvarez? Mac Miller? Maybe it’s a combination of all of her relationships again? We guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

The track ‘Imagine’ drops TODAY at 3pm (AEST)!
