Apollo Jackson became a household name during his search for love on Australian reality TV.
His muscular physique coupled with his down-to-earth and adorable personality made him a fan favourite to win Sophie Monk’s season of The Bachelorette, but was sent home right before the finale.
He then made a return to our screens on Australia’s first season of Bachelor In Paradise. While he ultimately left Fiji solo, Apollo managed to find love with fellow reality TV contestant, Love Island’s Edyn ‘Mac’ Mackney.

And now we dance.. Mi baile favorito, El Paso doble – shot by the talented @blacksandphotography I’m so lucky to have the people I hold close life never ask why I want to do something and just how can they support me. A big shout out to Edy who’s been so amazing and supportive coming into my crazy life of magic, music, wrestling, competitive eating, miniature ponies, wild ideas and supreme nerdiness 🙌🏽
Having concluded his search for love, Apollo is set to return once again to reality TV, this time in search of fame on Australia’s Got Talent.
Apollo is first and foremost a magician by trade and he is set to demonstrate this during his death-defying audition when Australia’s Got Talent returns to our TV screens.
A promo for his appearance on the show is enough to send chills up and down your spine, as he LITERALLY sets himself on fire in a trick that he hopes will impress judges Manu Fieldel, Nicole Scherzinger, Shane Jacobson and Lucy Durack.
“I’m going to be suspended from the ceiling, the pulley system is set to drop me face first towards a bed of razor sharp flaming spikes,” the Bachie star reveals in the promo.
“The only way to stop the drop system is a switch located in a locked and gained box out of reach. And to take this escape to the next level, I’m going to be doused in gasoline.”
You know, just incase hanging yourself above some flaming spikes wasn’t already next level…
It’s safe to say that the stunt already has us, and clearly the judges, on the edge of our seats!
“I’m really nervous about this, there is a chance that things could go seriously wrong,” he admits. “I’m willing to risk my life on stage for this.”
Yeah bud, we’re nervous too! So does he make it out safely and through to the next round of the talent show? We’ll have to wait and see!
Australia’s Got Talent returns to Aussie screens SOON, Sunday nights on Channel Seven.
