It’s been plagued with graffiti, overgrown plants and smashed windows, but it appears the Big Brother mansion at Dreamworld is getting a much-needed makeover.

The abandoned house is expected to be revamped into a paintball and laser tag theme park within three to six months.

US-based entrepreneur Tony Odinson told the Gold Coast Bulletin that a deal is set to be signed “soon” with the Queensland Investment Corporation.

“We are calling it Adventure Park to fit in with all the other theme parks there [on the Gold Coast],” he told the publication.

“We really want it to be a bit more family-orientated. We intend to have little kids parties too, not just bucks’ parties.”

The Queensland Investment Corporation has not confirmed the plans, telling the Bulletin that they’re “considering a range of future options”.

A recent fifteen-minute-long YouTube video has amassed over a million views and takes viewers into the abandoned hallways, Diary Room and shower room, which are all filled with shattered glass.

YouTuber ‘MuiTube’ says in the video that it’s hard not to get lost in the house because it has no many nooks and crannies.

Big Brother last aired five years ago before it was axed by Channel Nine. It was filmed entirely inside a ‘compound’ at Dreamworld on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
