Public Speaking is the number one most feared thing for most people, but this little girl is smashing her local stand-up comedy scene, and she’s only ten.

Her name is Saffron Herndon and she’s a Texan elementary school student, and she can give any professional comedian a run for their money.

She’s been writing and performing her own comedy since she was eight years old, and has a pretty sophisticated sense of humour.

Her opening line sets the tone: “My dad says I’m not pretty enough for pageants… so he makes me do comedy.”

She says her idols are Amy Poehler, Tina Fey and Lucille Ball, and dreams of a job on Saturday Night Live.
