While Sophia and Jackson were frontrunners in the birthing units of 2015, a new set of names are taking over this year. According to Nameberry (the online baby name database) parents are moving away from (though some still using) the weird things like Instagram filters and inanimate objects to name their children, and instead opting for older, biblically inspired monikers and unisex names.
Logan, Charlie, Riley and Rowan are popular for both boys and girls so far this year, but the site has listed the top ten monikers topping the board in 2016:
