Thomas Kelly's father has told a packed funeral service in Sydney he'll treasure the last words from his son.
Ralph Kelly has delivered the eulogy for his 18-year-old son who died after being king hit during a night out in Kings Cross almost two weeks ago. He told mourners his son was courageous in life and death and the more he knew him, the more he was in awe of his sheer determination.
Ralph Kelly says he'll treasure the final email he received from Thomas and is glad he had a good night out with his friends the night before his death. Mr KELLY said the days since his son's death have been an emotional roller coaster and they're still finding it difficult to believe he won't be coming home again.
Other speakers have touched briefly on the violence that led to THOMAS' death and the pain it had caused.
The service was held at his old school, The King's School, in North Paramatta.
