What Happens On The Internet In 60seconds?

It’s amazing to in 2013, think about a world without the internet, but just 20 years ago it was almost unheard of. These days – everything we own seems to be connected to it and everything we do communicated through it…. A great video has been released by Buzzfeed on the internet which runs down what exactly happens on the internet in 60seconds.

The list includes

• Over half a million Google Searches
• 47,000 App downloads
• 270,000 Tweets on Twitter
• 1.8m likes on Facebook
• 200,000 photo’s uploaded.
• 204 million emails will be sent – 65% spam
• Amazon will sell $100,0000 of goods.
• 1000 iPhones are sold

Domocopter's Pizza Payload

When you take a look at what’s going on in the world of technology – you might think I would talk about how the American government might be snooping on our emails – or the latest devices to come out of Apple – both very valid technology stories… I’ve taken a different Angle. Flying Pizza.

Unmanned drones have been around for a little while now – flying computer controlled planes have been used by the government for a while dropping bombs on enemies of the state and now it seems they are set to drop pizza’s on enemies of a balanced diet.

Domino’s in the Uk have created the Domicopter - (That’s Domino’s plus helicopter!) – the drone ready to drop a Pizza Payload!
Originally created as a publicity stunt – Domino’s are now considering if they could actually use the Domicopter to deliver pizza over long distance or in crowded places.

How would the drone ring your doorbell? How would it deal with a bunch of drunk uni students at 4am? Will we see it soon? Not likely – As we’re still waiting for the Domino’s Pizza store the Japanese affiliate wanted to build on the moon for a cost of $21.7 billion dollars! (Delivered in 30 light years or it’s free anyone?)

The Sydney monorail will cease to operate after June 30 this year, so Jonesy thought he'd go for one last ride before it's too late, and capture it all on 'Jonesy' Cam'.

He even made some friends along the way... watch above!

It's World Blood Donor Day- so to show their support songs were blood themed!

Amanda chose to go with The First Cut is the Deepest – Rod Stewart whilst Jonesy opted for the meaty I See Red –Split Enz.

And much to Jonesy's surprise - he lost! In Jonesy's case the thirteenth cut truly is the deepest. Amanda leads 13-9
