Pregnant Woman Viciously Stabbed By Teen In Sydney
A pregnant woman has been stabbed multiple times in the abdomen and chest after disturbing a 14-year-old intruder in her northern Sydney home.
The woman was attacked during the violent break-in at her Mt Colah home on Thursday evening at about 8:50pm, and sought assistance from neighbours after the boy fled the scene.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the woman was rushed to Royal North Shore Hospital, where she is in a stable condition.
Police are reporting that the woman is several months pregnant. The condition of her unborn child is unknown at this stage.
Police arrested the teen at a nearby home, and he is awaiting surgery under police guard at Hornsby Hospital after suffering hand wounds.
