Strong New Lead In Madeleine McCann Case
UK police are chasing a strong new lead in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
Detectives are now investigating a credible lead involving a dead paedophile and a "woman in purple" which has led them to Bulgaria.
The Sun newspaper has revealed that the woman's husband, who is now deceased, was a convicted paedophile and were both working as domestic helpers near the Algarve holiday apartment where Madeleine went missing in 2007.
Witnesses have come forward to say that the "woman in purple" was seen close to the Ocean Club complex in Praia da Luz.
Reports are now saying that investigators are being directed to Bulgaria, which comes one month after there was a new development which sought Scotland Yard hunting a "person of significance".
Kate and Gerry McCann discovered their daughter missing on May 3, 2007 when Madeleine was taken from her bed, leaving her twin siblings behind.
