Woman Tries To Lure School Children To Her Vehicle

Queensland Police have released a comfit photo of a woman they believe is trying to lure children into her car by claiming she is a teacher and offering them a lift.
Police say that the woman has approached school children on two separate occasions in South Brisbane.
The first attempt was at 8 am on February 19th where she approached two school students, aged 15 and 18, walking along Pine Street In Runcorn.
The woman stated that she was a school teacher and offered them a lift. The teens refused and the woman drove off her in her silver SUV.
The second attempt was five days later about 3.15pm where the woman drove up to a 12-year-old student on Wadley Street, Macgregor and gestured for the girl to come up to her vehicle. The student refused and the woman left the scene.
The woman described is of Asian appearance, about 35-38 years old, medium build with black hair and brown eyes.
She was driving a silver SUV similar in size to a Toyota Rav 4.

Police are warning children to be careful when walking to and from school and not to accept lifts from strangers.
