Woman Arrested After Stealing 56 Containers Of Baby Formula
3 people have been arrested after 56 containers of stolen baby formula were found in their car.
Yesterday afternoon, police pulled over a black Suzuki on the Hume Highway in Liverpool for a random breath test.
The officers approached the car and spoke to the female driver, 29, and her two passengers, a woman, 28, and a man, 26.
Police uncovered a number of items they believed to be stolen, including baby formula, glucosamine, fish oil, multi-vitamins, Manuka honey, tissues, toilet paper, nappies, BB cream and tape.
The three people were arrested and taken to Green Valley police station.
The female passenger was charged with larceny and having suspected stolen goods.
She was refused bail and faced Liverpool court today.
The driver was charged with having suspected stolen goods, driving an uninsured car and driving without a license.
She was granted conditional bail and is due in Liverpool court next Thursday.
The other passenger was charged with having suspected stolen goods and was granted conditional bail and is due in Liverpool court on Thursday, December 21.
