With Telstra, Optus Or Vodafone? We Have Some Very Bad News

Optus, Telstra and Vodafone are all scrambling to stop an offshore call centre from selling their customers information for just $350.

The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that AI Solutions, a Mumbai-based security firm, is currently asking for between $350 and $1,000 for mobile phone records and home addresses of their customers.

The three telcos are aware of the issue and are currently pursuing their options with regards to the cutting the company loose.

Optus and Vodafone are working with the Australian Federal Police which has provided information to Indian authorities.

Optus, Telstra and Vodafone urge customers who think their data may have been breached to contact them so it can be investigated and referred to police.
