Warning Issued After Thick Fog Blankets Western Sydney
Commuters are being urged to take extra care on the roads this morning as a thick fog blankets the city.
Western Sydney has been affected most by the soupy conditions, with Nine News Sydney reporting that visibility around Olympic Park is down to 400 metres.
There has already been one road accident as a result of the fog, with a car flipping just before 3am in Blacktown.
As of yet no flights in or out of Sydney airport have been delayed or cancelled by the mist, which is moving across from the Hawkesbury River and Richmond areas.
Conditions are expected to clear as the day goes on - just in time for the second State of Origin game later this evening.
