Two People Dead After Separate Stabbings In Western Sydney
A man is in police custody after a woman was stabbed to death at a home in Sydney’s southwest.
Emergency services rushed to the home on Grahame Avenue, Glenfield, at around 2am on Thursday where they found a 43-year-old woman with stab wounds.
Despite the efforts of paramedics the woman died at the scene.
A 58-year-old man at the home was arrested and taken to Campbelltown Police station.

A woman has also been charged with murder after a man was stabbed to death in a separate incident in Sydney’s west.
Police attended a home in Meroo Street in Blacktown at about 5:20pm on Wednesday after reports a man had been stabbed in the street.
A 40-year-old man was found seriously injured and officers performed CPR on themas until paramedics arrived.
The man was unable to be revived and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 50-year-old woman was arrested at another home in the same street and police have said that she is known to the victim.
The woman was taken to Blacktown Police Station and has since been charged. She will appear in court later today.
The victim is yet to be formally identified and a crime scene has been established at the home.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
