‘Trick or Treating’ Mother and Daughter Hit by L-Plater
An eight-year-old girl and her mother are in hospital after being struck by a learner driving while trick or treating in Jordan Springs, Sydney yesterday.
The 27-year-old mother suffered a pelvis injury while her daughter had cuts to the head. They were both were taken to Westmead Hospital, the daughter to The Children’s Hospital of Westmead.
Both the father of the child and the driver were uninjured. Police have reported that the cause of the crash was due to ‘inexperience’.
Witness Kyle Thornton wrote on social media “A L Driver hit an adult and they got pinned between the car. Helicopter came but they went by ambulance.”
NSW are continuing their investigation.
