Major Traffic Delays After Fatal Smash On M4
Commuters are being urged to avoid Sydney’s M4 motorway following a fatal multi-vehicle accident in the early hours of this morning.
Just before 6AM on Thursday, multiple cars and a truck were involved in a crash at the Church St off-ramp near Mays Hill and Parramatta.

One person has died and it remains unclear how many people have been injured.
There are also conflicting reports as to how many cars were involved in the crash. Live Traffic Sydney has reported a four car and truck crash while Steve Hart from 10 News has said on twitter that eight cars were involved.
All eastbound lanes approaching Church St have been closed, as well as the Cumberland Highway, Great Western Highway and Burnett St eastbound on-ramps.
Eastbound lanes are expected to be closed “for some time” a NSW Police spokesperson has said.
All motorists are being told to avoid the area and major traffic delays are expected.
