Tradie Killed In Horrific M4 Pile Up Named

The man who tragically lost his life in yesterdays horrific M4 pile up has been named.

It's been revealed that 36-year-old Irish tradie Francis Shanley who moved to Australia ten years ago, was driving to work when his ute and another car were hit by a truck carrying beer kegs on the M4 before 6am Thursday morning.

Another eight cars then slammed into each other in the middle lane as they attempted to slow down to avoid the first collision.

One of those cars drove off and police are appealing for that driver to come forward.

The Sun confirmed Mr Shanley’s identity overnight.

It's been revealed Mr Stanley was preparing to marry his partner Broc Nicholson next year.

Ms Nicholson shared this heart breaking tribute on Facebook:

“Most of you have heard the devastating news of our beautiful, strong head, lucky charm Irish boy Francis Shanley has sadly passed away today. He will be forever in our hearts and sadly missed,” Ms Nicholson said.

“I thank you all for you love, support and messages of kind words. Going to be a long road ahead getting back on our feet … fly high my beautiful angel I love you forever and always.”
