Flights Delayed Due To Thick Fog Blanketing Sydney

Several flights and ferry services have been delayed or cancelled in Sydney after fog settled across the city.

Patches of early morning fog disrupted some international, domestic and regional flights at Sydney Airport. Travellers have been told to contact their airlines for further information.

Some ferries between Manly and Circular Quay, Taronga Zoo, Mosman, Double Bay, Watsons Bay and along the Parramatta River have also been cancelled or delayed as the fog rolled across parts of Sydney Harbour.

"Allow extra travel time as ferry services may be delayed or cancelled due to heavy fog this morning," Transport NSW said. "Expect delays and cancellations and check indicator boards as ferry stopping patterns may change at short notice."

If you are due to catch a flight this morning and are concerned about delays you should contact your airline.
