There's Some Bad News For Aussie Retailer JB Hi-Fi

Electronics retailer JB Hi-Fi has reported a slowdown in sales growth, amid changes in product release times and elevated sales growth in the same period a year ago.

Comparable sales growth for the JB Hi-Fi business from June 30 to October 22, was 3.2 per cent, markedly weaker than the 10 per cent lift recorded in the same time a year ago, while whitegoods arm The Good Guys' comparable sales grew 2.4 per cent.

JB Hi-Fi shares were down 1.4 per cent to $23.20 at 1030 AEDT on Thursday, despite the company reaffirming its full-year sales guidance of around $6.8 billion in total sales.
