Top 10 Most-Searched Suburbs To Live In Have Been Revealed
The top 10 most searched NSW suburbs have been revealed and western Sydney is doing very well.
According to realestate.com.au, three areas in the city's west have rounded out the top five in the last six months, with houses in higher demand than apartments.
Kellyville came in at a very respectable second place thanks to its proximity to the city - 35 minutes by car, just over an hour by bus - and the size of its houses.
Data collected by core Logic puts the median Kellyville house price at $1,188,700.
And Castle Hill isn't too far behind, either; taking out the third spot, the western suburb is popular with city commuters and families with older children.
It is a little more expensive though, with the average price of a home sitting at $1,565,000.
While Mosman slipped into fourth place, Blacktown rounded out the top five with experts citing its proximity to the city and wide array of housing options for its success.
And it's significantly cheaper, too; core Logic data averages the price of Blacktown home at $735,000.
