Flood affected areas in Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia have brought white potato farming to a standstill.
Reports from The Age have said that the ground is still far too wet for the vegetables to grow. Farmers will have to wait until the soil dries out more.
The potatoes have become bogged in the wet soil. Here's hoping the sun comes out for long enough soon!
Prices of white brushed potato are already on the increase, and if there is even more of a delay to farming, this could rise even more.
