Sydney Mum Allegedly Caught Drink Driving During School Run
A mother has been charged after crashing her car during the morning school run in Sydney's South.
Around 8am Monday morning, the woman was taking her kids to school at Bonnet Bay when she allegedly ran into a neighbour's car.
Her three children aged 9,7 and 3 weren't injured and managed to climb out of the car.
She was breath tested at the scene, allegedly blowing seven times the legal limit.
Before her arrest the 37-year-old allegedly drove onto the wrong side of the road before colliding with another vehicle.
She then reportedly crossed back on to the right side of the road where she then mounted the curb before finally stopping.
Witnesses say the woman crawled from her car then called police.
When officers arrived at the scene they breath tested the mother, who returned a reading of 0.367, more than seven times the legal limit.
The woman's licence was suspended immediately, and she was charged with high-range drink driving.
The woman's three children were all with her during the horrific ordeal and police have since notified Family and Community Services.
