Salim Mehajer Is Trying To Sell $4MILLION Worth Of Property
It's been revealed that the Mehajer family have been put two properties up for sale only days after $200,000 bail was posted to get disgraced former Auburn deputy mayor Salim Mehajer out of prison.
Salim Mehajer was released from jail this week following a two-month stint in Sydney's infamous Silverwater jail.
With his family forced to fork-out the huge sum to gain his freedom, two homes owned by his sister Zenah are now on the market in the city's inner and outer west.
Sources close to the family claim that the properties 'had to be sold' to help raise the much needed cash to fund Mehajer's bail, as well as combat his mounting debts.
The home next door to Salim's palatial mansion on Frances Street, Lidcombe, is one of two up for sale with an asking price of $1.65 million.
The property features four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a swimming pool, with an online advert showing an artists impression of a potential re-development.
The other residence on offer as part of the family's fire sale is a three-bedroom home on Lyons Road West at Canada Bay, in Sydney's inner-west.
Featuring views of Parramatta River, similar homes in the area have recently gone for as much as $1.9million.
A source told Daily Mail Australia, 'It has to be sold. They need to raise money so it's going to auction and will be sold,'
