Police Struggling For Evidence Over Missing Mum
Police are openly struggling to pinpoint the moment suspected murder victim Karen Ristevski left her house 16 days ago.
The security cameras at the property of Ristevski and her family did not catch her leaving the morning she vanished.
As police widened the search for the mother, the Herald Sun are reporting that they are not focusing their inquiries on a second location. They hope a breakthrough in their investigation is imminent.
Detectives are becoming confident they could determine a particular location in which to look for the Avondale Heights mother, or her belongings, which include a mobile phone and a hold handbag.
Police have confirmed that they have spoken to neighbours and residents in the area, who are unable to back up claims that Mrs Ristevski had walked from her home and failed to come back on June 29.
No witnesses have come forward to say they saw her in the area that Wednesday.
